Looks like the little guy's gonna call for help.....

well, he wasn't going to - since, strictly speaking, dex is right. he did break
the law by making illegal use of time. but now he sees that the rouge rats
were the wrong types to get invovled with, so he'd rather take his chances
with our organization, and pay for his crime - rather than get tangled any
deeper with those crooks.
Wise, and safer, move....but I could still see enough parallel paradoxes that could happen, since both the Mice of Time and the Rogue Rats bounce around alot through time that could prevent one another from acting according to what should be done....
Ok, so you if could use some positive temporal ideas then instead of Paramount, do keep an eye on the BBC.
Has anyone seen the newest Doctor Who episode yet, Blink? That was top notch, just brilliant. Thanks to time travel you can just blindly talk to a DVD extra. zowwie!

Offer #2: the idea of time travel is decidedly non-euclidean. It is hard to write for because it's not something you can just walk out onto the street and see first hand.
Another non euclidean concept — a cousin to time travel — is the idea of a spatial portal. Imagine for a moment two doors physically distant from one another, but if you step through one you come out the other.
Wrapping your mind around the ramifications of an idea like that is good practice for time travel ideas too. But — while you can't walk out on the street and see spacial portals either — I know some folks who made a freeware 3d puzzle game where you can. it's not really oddball dating... i put the date of my comics as the day the
art is drawn, rather than the day i post it. i have a backlog of comics that
i'm working on completing, and i have to keep them in order.
being a mouse of time can be tricky, but it's what i do. ^.^
