Heya Shirlee. Just curious to know if there will be a new comic anytime soon. :)

well, it's giving the story away a little, but... a grandma mouse of time has
the ability that all moms and grandmas have (that i referred to in the story
that kat and gene and cw and i posted on vcl) that is, to be able to show
up anywhere in the world whenever their children are in trouble! that's why
she doesn't need a clock. she's there for all the corps members, if any of
them ever get lost in time they can call grandma and she will find them! ^.^

My excuses

Post by Milgrove »

I've been checking the comic site. As for why the lack of posts, I've been busy with work (ten years of the midnight shift at a convenience store-- sheesh!).

That and trying to get my muse to come back to me. :/

when you catch your muse, lock 'em up. they are elusive creatures!

Almost anything can be inspiration, be it a loving spouse (or future spouse ;) ), or a colourful anodised metal (be it jewellery or coins), or something oddball like a small jarful of uranium glass marbles, or... ;) Let the world be your muse! :)

(But if you do catch her, always tell her you love her, and maybe she'll stay and sprinkle some magic on your creativity... :) )

Amy. <:3 )~~8~
(Uranium glass is as safe as eating a banana, or nuts, or carrots, or... :) )

Speaking of inspiration...
This comic has inspired me.
I am, sort of, an aspiring author, and after reading TMOT front to back non-stop for the first time, my brain sort of spat out a side story that I am turning into a fan fiction... well, long story short, I was wondering if you have anywhere to post it?
Or, if you want to look it over first, what I have of it so far, anyway, I could send it to you, Shirlee.
I am an avid fan of you and your group of artist friends/family. I am also extremely shy... so you have to realise how much this fan fiction hit me, since it will be, quite literally, the first piece of writing I've ever felt the need and desire to share strong enough to bring me out of my shell...

gods, I'm rambling... umm, anyway...

get back to me on that? I would be honored to have you look at it, even...

oh, my goodness! someone has been inspired by this little comic of mine?
why, of course i would like to read your fanfiction! and if you would not
mind, i would be most honored to post it on my fanart page. i'm used to
seeing my more talented fiance and friends have fanfiction written about
their comics, but i never dreamed that i would be so honored. ^.^

if you would email me your writings, i would be glad to read them!
