The Copenhagen End of Things meet-up

The happening place to be. Unless you go somewhere else that's more stimulating.

You must go through a lot of medical tape then.

We must inquire at the zoo old chap. It was possibly a tiger that made it through your mosquito net and took off with your leg, but first a cup of tea.

What? A tiger? In africa?

Furthermore, I'm pleased as punch to see my diddly fiddly sketches as avartars.
I did these just for larks, they're for ShannC.

Well. It's also flattering to have your avatar drawn by others, and more personal so it's a symbiotic circlejerk. :D

Besides, you're an awesome artist! Thanks for the wonderful Canardos.

Both pictures are brilliant! The second one is humorous though. I like the palette of colors too.

ShannC is to blame for this horrible pun.

Oh no he found me! He always has been a thorn in my side, and now... he can literary make ends meet. Is this guy sharp enough for a comic of his own or will it be too one-sided?

Anyway, it's a keeper. I be sure to let you now if I have another pun that can be illustrated. Thanks Paul!

Well, you weren't with us this time so you don't know what went on.

Another thing you missed was the ambitious fan-art we drew that never made it online. We got a really large paper(A3 format) and made a rendition of Da vinci's "The last supper" naturally with Evan as Jesus in the centre being serviced under the table by Abel from DMFA. What we did here was to change the eye-level perspective, and make it directly to the side so that you could see what was going on under the table. Paul wanted to remain faithful to the original but I conviced him at that point. Anyway, just to the side there's a snake pit with the cast from Better Days, Dan(DMFA) sandwiched in between. As this was in the foreground, some parts became ostensibly large but Foob is really good with proportions so it came out right.
Just up above and to the left side of Evan we have Ryan and Ashley eating a traditional okonomiyaki and sushi off Maynard's naked body(on the table). Obviously because they are into animé and japanese culture in general(my idea)..
Finally on the far left we have Llewelyn and Ozy's mom from Ozy and Millie doing the Tree in paradise position from Kama Sutra as a hint to Llewelyn being into eastern philosophy and all that. In fact, it was Xander sketching up most positions and stuff since he has studied the source material pretty extensively.
Well, to the right of Evan, and all the way to the far right we have each and every forum member from here split in couples(one a slave, the other the master). This is really heavy on the details so you have handcuffs, whips, leashes, the works. We even made some apparel up we don't know whether it exists or not. I'm not too happy with that, but it was a solution for avatars and people we didn't know what they looked like, to cover them up in gimp-masks.

Finally, we wanted to put something dignified, like a historical reference. So in the low right corner we have some characters from Beatrix Potter. It's Peter Rabbit sitting on the face of Benjamin Bunny, simultanously sucking the tits of mrs. Tiggy-Winkle. Jeremy Fisher and Timmy Tiptoes are going for a sort of Bukkake over the whole scene.

This was in Christiania and this ragged man steps up saying "Wow, that's one hell of a picture. What do you call it?"

We yell in Chorus: The Furristocrats!!

So he offers us ten grams of hasch for the drawing, our danish hosts convincing us that it's a pretty sweet deal. Well yeah, and the rest is history.

Goddamnit! You hear that guys? That picture could've paid off Xander's trip and mine! Didn't I say internet auction, huh?

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Although, maybe it actually was so face-meltingly graphic that it would've been confiscated and locked up in Area 52 together with the lost Ark.
