Ok, so... it's no secret that I wanna have Maynard's snooty babies. If only I had the ovaries to make this dream possible... anyway, as a near-rabid fan of TEoT, sometimes I rewrite parts of the comics. Sometimes they're funny, sometimes they're not, but I thought I'd post this new one after talking to Tiggie-pants. If it's not well received I'll take it down, if it's ok I'll leave it, all that jazz. Hope everyone's having a good day today.

Road trip! Excellent drawing of the car, by the way. All the little details, like the seat cushions and the seatbelts. Ted strikes me as someone that enjoys driving for some reason. I picture him listening to something catchy and mainstream and Evan is mildly irriated.

Really? I don't recall that for some reason. And yeah, care interiors are good for details.JTigerclaw wrote:Argh! I had a dream like a year ago of Evan taking a roadtrip in a scene with a car... I think I told you about it back then. I had a big comic book of the story with the car in it.
And yay! Cars are great sources for lots of little details that I love looking at. Yummy!
Most shots will be of the interior, but I want readers to know what type of car Ted drives, and where exactly these two are, especially since they are in a rural enviromnet. It's texture, to use the parlance of our times.yeahduff wrote:Bah, no one wants to look at cars anyway. Just do interiors.

My urge to slap Evan is rising. He just refuses to look at the bright side of anything, doesn't he?
But I'm starting to like Ted - he seems like a no-nonsense type of guy. (Unlike the rest of the rather dysfunctional male cast.) No wonder Evan complains about him - someone poking at your nice, warm bubble of self-pity with a stick made of common sense is really annoying!
