Apostle of Hustle: Sleepwalking Ballad
Do you ever have a trip on a particular record or musician? I get that occasionally - this summer, half the time I've spent listening to music, it's been either Muse or Ladytron. Undoubtedly, something else will take over later on, but for now, these two bands = "wow, this is great and damn catchy!" to me...
Wikipedia's got a Ladytron article with convenient links to song samples (on the group's myspace site) and videos.PeppermintAfterlife wrote:I'm going to have to find some of this Ladytron now.

nah, it's an arrangement by Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Crops 2006. The soprano line (trumpets) put their instruments on the side lines and play the beginning on baritones. They switch back to the sopranos after the Marimabas and vibes play for a while, then there's this amazing cresecnedo into one of the loudest and most incredible things I've ever heard. I wish I could find a sample of it somewhere online, as I'm not big on passing mp3s around. I actually heard this live in Madison this past saturday. I really want to hear the original version now.Karl Falcon wrote:The Chanticleer recording?PeppermintAfterlife wrote:Ave Maria-Franz Biebl
