I think it's the lips. I can't see any place to make her more girly, maybe a Hello Kitty keychain or something, but I think more feminine lips might help.

I'd say the structure of the body is the key - body composition or whatever the English term is. You tend to give your male and female characters a similar overall body structure, making the girls look slightly masculine.theSuburbanLetdown wrote:Heh yeah. I kinda suck at drawing girls.
Now there's an excuse to draw nude women, if you fancy that sort of thing.

Re: Random drawings and other such things
Eyelashes and bigger thighs/butt would help. But some girls just look sorta masculine in real life, and that makes it more realistic. Still, wider hips give it away that she's a girl (kinda hard from the profile angle) and eyelashes help set the females apart in comics.

Aww...that's mean....ShannC wrote:Yep, but Pravus, it's really not that clever.![]()
BTW, the eyebrows show that she's a girl.

Re: Random drawings and other such things
I think she looks feminine enough in a realistic way. There is the slight curve of breast and the way her top rides up from her waist.

I agree. You can't really make her any more girl looking without going overboard. Large chest etc.
Those look like Doc Martens you're wearing. (Could be wrong.) Cools, I've always kinda wanted a pair myself.

Well judging a person solely on the content of their work isn't something you should just go on. At least in my opinion. It's no biggie though. I probably have done the same.
I'm glad you liked it though. Thanks for reading it.

No, I've been trying, but the way the cam uploaded the pics was...weird, to say the least....

Oooooo..Suburban!
That avatar of Evan has the most intense emotional punch of all the Evans I've seen!
Terror, or drug withdrawel, or perhaps on the verge of a diabetic coma.
Wow!

Re: Random drawings and other such things
Oddly enough, my first interpretation was "shower."
Doesn't really make sense now though, haha.

I think I know what this stems from, and I think you know what I'm thinking of. Am I right?
Though I am diggin' the expression. I'm a sucker for those kinds of expressions (my characters quite often have a 'WTF' face going on, heh)
EDIT: I also meant to add, I like the background you chose, and I like how 'fuzzy' you draw Evan. The tufts of fur coming off his ears, face and shoulders are cool.

Yeah, I'm full of anxiety, so you're right.
I thought the tufts and such helped make him look disheveled. And yeah, I've been adding more tufts on the characters in general, mainly on ears and forearms. Thanks.
