Really? I have not made it dark enough, but his eyes are more than half-closed. They're supposed to be kinda sad too.
I know nothing that goes in this thread is canon but I could actually fit some of this into my head. Evan is so reserved, snarky, and self destructive, that he might in fact be in desperate need of a hug. Although, I don't think the waiter guy would stand for that.
Hehe, I'm almost wondering if what Evan does in the latest update might be something like a clumpsy and inappropriate attempt at body contact. A drunken stupor is typically the kind of thing to reveal what people try to hide after all.
I think I'm starting to read too much of my own into it again.
