Work & time lost because you forgot to save?
With me happens everytime the computer I work on at my job crashes, and I've been so concentrated on the job at hand that even I forget to save...
------------------

My personal favorite was the day that I saved a paper to an unexpected place, and then couldn't find it. So I thought I'd be clever and open up a new document and hit "save as" to see where the word processor wanted to put it. Sure enough, it showed me what folder it had saved the paper in. THe problem was, I got so excited about finding it, that I didn't stop to think, and double clicked on the paper's file name in order to open it.
Keep in mind, though, that I was still in the "save as" function, so rather than opening the file, I merely saved a blank document over my 15 page paper.
That was a fun day, let me tell you.

Amazingly enough, I've never lost a single paper due to computer problems. Lucky me, huh?
I have, however, lost a drawing that I'd been working on for the past five hours because I was so absorbed I neglected to save and Photoshop decided to crash on me when I switched brushes. Wheeeeeee...
------------------
