Real-Life fangirl attack stories?

My first anime con was in May 2006, and, of course, I went as a catboy. Now, I didn't realize (probably because I haven't really read much of your comic until after that con!) that fangirls are awful, awful beasts. And, apparently, talking to one for three minutes means you're in a relationship. I got her IM name, thinking she'd be nice to talk to; all of my friends hate anime, so they're no fun. Sadly, her spelling skills were that of a 3-year-old. After two weeks of my eyes BLEEDING, I stopped IMing her. I contacted her a week ago about going to the con again, and here come the fireworks. She went off on me like I'd been cheating on her the whole time, and proceeded to call me a few bizzare names she's made up for me in the, uh, six months we hadn't talked to each other. After I explained as nicely as possible that she was creeping me out, I got a message from her "friend" that she cried for two days because of that. I need to start carrying mace with me. Oh, and another girl at the con followed me around for an hour petting my tail, but that was quick to get used to, despite the fact that she was kinda ugly. >_>

I'm so glad glomps are banned at most cons around here. >_>

Second.... Okay I had honestly never knew that my comic would be made into a what will happen if you dress up like a catboy at the convention. Though I am happy to know that I am helping people.
Yes my friend.... that is what happens... I have seen what happens when the bushi boy dresses up like Inu Yasha, Koga, or any guy that girls will be able to grab a tail or an ear.
In fact the first time I had seen this was when I saw a group of fangirls rush an Inu Yasha cosplayer. Now I must say his costume looked great... but some girls were still trying to get him to join their little group of ravenous hungry fans.

I got to talk to him later and heard horror story after horror story... which ... afterwards he laughed and stated that he didn't worry too much... then pointed to the girl cosplaying as Kagome.... all 6 feet of her... Big sisters know when to protect the little Bushi brother.

So yeah.... I have to say that is good you know now... spread the word...

I semi know the feeling. The anime club I am in at my college has a large number of crazed fangirls, who once, when I was dressed like a regular guy, thought that I was dressed up as a character from something they had just watched and group glomped me. Not that bad of a thing, but it was unusual.

I can't remember the last time I was glomped (pobrecito...).
Must be getting too old
