Update on the remakes' progress.
The remake of Dragon Kingdoms I is actually coming along quite well now, though there has been a bit of a delay due to final exams. After the 18th (of July), however, things should pick up, since I'll be free until August 21, with the exception of still going to work. September to November, however, could be another slow period, though perhaps not as much so as May-July have been, as I'll only have 2 classes through early October, and only ONE afterward.
The same can't be said for Dragon Kingdoms II, however, though it should follow a similar style. Again, a lot could happen in the next month, and I'm hoping it does, as college won't be weighing down everything for that time. Another good time will be from late December until March (and, indeed MUCH of 2007), as I'll have all the required classes out of the way. It looks like things may finally be getting underway after a fairly slow 2005 and 2006 (to date).

The answer is a resounding YES! However, it isn't a lot, but that's still better than nothing (read: July). In fact, I have some screens:
Last Week

There's William's face graphic, welcoming people to Ghostlight Productions (it was for an event last Friday).

Yeah, he's a little upset that the town (Lakelan Town) isn't (or wasn't) ready for Demo Day (the event last Friday).

Looks like that guard hasn't seen a monster in a while. Of course, Akahr can easily dispose of it.
This Week

The guard is gone and the monster is defeated, but should he try to cross a broken bridge?

Nope, now he's fallen into the water. He should've listened to the guard! Well, at least maybe he could walk back onshore...

...except for the fact that it's still storming, and he's in water. He got zapped. Looks like it's back to his last save point...
I'm hoping to have more ready next week.

Zzzz... Oops, sorry!
Anyway, there has been some progress:

The desert to the south seems to have some weird monsters. Sundogs are one of them, they're fireballs that fly around in the sky above deserts, start barking when you get too close, and then swoop down and fry you.
Don't forget to return to town and find the bridgemaker when it gets rainy. Yes, there's MORE to explore west of the bridge!

The Dragon Kingdoms site is pretty much dead... the comic being known as one of the worst webcomics ever created and all. However, the games continue.
