Michelle.. I heard you had some bandwidth problems with a while back so I didn't want to add yet another burden on gamerulers bbs boards ^^;;I've submitted an application for roledie.keenspace.com.. and if that's approved hopefully I will get a new, more permanent msg board after for roledie..

Well, the bandwidth problems and disk space problems are solved (server-side thing; not me). Hmm, since you mentioned Diablo II, here's something every D2 player WILL know. Panel 1: Hero turns round, just to see a small demon/animal/perhapsboth, not looking very theatening at all.Panel 2: He runs to it, sword drawn.Panel 3: All of a sudden, the Thing blinks out just to appear right BEHIND the hero, biting his back.(It should do this several times, but since this is a max 4 panel comic...)Panel 4: Somehow get the line: "Lag - the silent killer" into the panel and cennect it to the demon, perhaps by putting a mousecursor over it and writing it's name in the top of the panel, on red background.MfG

Can I bring in the Chibi Kittens of Death? o0;Strip 2Panel 1
The main character guy (I'm going to call him "Roel") is peering. This could be a close-up? o0;Panel 2
Something shuffles behind him.
Something: Shuffle!Panel 3
Roel looks over his shoulder. Nothing's there. Hm.Panel 4
Something shuffles in front of him while he's looking over his shoulder.
Something: Shuffle Shuffle!Panel 5 - (maybe, uh, 'cause you can re-use a bunch of the pictures since the actions are repetitive.)
Roel looks back again in front of him, he's getting kinda nervous now, and he's like gripping his sword and stuff. Uuuh, this could be a wide shot that shows that he's alone.
Roel: Nothing...Panel 6
Action scene: A little chibi kitten is leaping torward's Roel's head! @_@
Roel: Gaaaah!

voice: (off panel from below possibly smaller text) "I'd rather not."Panel 4
man: (confused and a little angry) "What?! Why?"
voice: "Well... for one, you're probably going to stab me if I do."

Not many submissions.. I think I'm gonna wait one more week (hopefully 1 or two more people will post)

Maybe I should try to plug this a bit more aggresively.. ^^

Or maybe the whole concept is flawed? What do you guys and gals think?

Oh, I dunno, I think you've got a couple of cute entries as it is. Besides, even if you start plugging it more aggresively, there's no guarantee that you'll get much more in the way of entries. (Unless you offer a prize or something...) In any case, sometimes the muse just doesn't strike people. For example, I wanted to send an entry to DBXP, but could never think of anything decent...

So, IMHO, I think that you should go ahead and do the second strip (and perhaps promote it a little more) and hope that people feel more inclined to send in an idea of their own.

The lizard monster thing is sitting behind the girl.
Guy:*looking angry* What are you doing here?
Girl:Being smart and not looting a dungeon alone. For example you might want to look behind you.

Panel 4:
Something drops from the ceiling and throws a knife/dagger at the guy.

When DBXP first came out there were something like 20+ entries within the first 2 days or something to that effect.. I guess I was sorta expecting the same numbers for RD. heh, wishful thinking. ^_^

And yea.. I should plug this a bit more. Other than my own webpage, I didn't promote RoleDie anywhere else...

Man Says: oh another adventurer.
Woman Says: yeah what's it to yah.

Scene 2
Man says: not much. did you know their is something large behind you?
Woman says scared: Uh... no, but there is something behind you.

Man says: Run?
Woman says: good idea
Man says:Okay
