I've noticed that the gross majority of the online comics are much better than those in print. Even though my parents still get the newspapers, I stopped reading the comics (hell, the whole newspaper :) about two months ago. All that effort of picking up and opening the paper just to read five or so nice comics seemed like too much for me. ;)
Anyway, good print comics that I like are Foxtrot, Adam@Home, The Duplex, Pickles, Non Sequitor, and Stone Soup. I'm sure there are a couple more, but I'm in Monday Brain Fart Mode right now, even though it's (I think) Tuesday.
Nothing new is happening in print these days. It's all old school methods, and it's lost one potential customer, me, and I'm sure many others. Not that I'm against paper itself or anything, I much prefer reading a paper book over an ebook, but for me getting my daily news/humor/comics on the internet 'nets' me much better quality content than any newspaper or magazine can provide.
Wow, two mega posts in two days. I'M OUTTA CONTROL!!! :)
Bye,
lj
