As difficult and all-consuming a prospect as trying to make a living off of online comics might be CDC, I know for a fact that your work is well-respected by a great many and diverse group of professionals. I think you would find that a lot of the more established guys would go out of their way to support your efforts.

How could they "let you go", CDC?! Don't they know that you're brilliant?!
What did you do at your job? They would never fire you if you were using your talents that you use to write and draw LoF comics, and especially not if they had any brains at all!
If you give me their address, I'll write them a very nasty letter.
You should find some better job, and then they'll be kicking themselves!
And don't get depressed! You have one of the most popular comics on the 'net, even if nobody admits they go to it, and lots of the web artists I really look up to link to your page. Maybe you could try to be an art teacher, or something? You give lots of good advice!
And if there's anything the LoF fans can do, just tell us.
------------------

If anyone can make enough money to live on off of an online comic, you can, CDC. You could sell rights for people to publish LoF in newspapers and magazines and that.
But basically anything related to art at all you'd be great in CDC!
...And I pass out LoF flyers at my school.
------------------

Hmm, off topic. But about the rights to your comic. Could my school's newspaper do that? As far as money goes, I'm not sure you'd get a dime, but it wouldn't cost anything either. Plus, you'll get more fans to buy more stuff.
