This thread might not really be terribly relevant and could actually just be a case of me wanting my own thread because everyone else has one ;)

Anyway, while Rachel is away I suppose I'm acting as a sort of mini-Rachel in regards to Blackaby - I don't know all of the answers, but I'm sure I can act like I do!

Stuff To Do:

- speak to Valisis re: doing an issue

Obviously if anyone comes past this thread and is interested in doing an issue or needs an answer to a question or wants to offer themselves up on a platter, I'm your Cissy :)

Hello there Ms. Cissy, nice to meet you.
I have a request, could you re-upload all my pages? I've been looking at them on the site and was starting to think that some of the jpgs were a little fuzzy in areas so PNG would be better and was also noticing some things I missed, like the color of a button or the color inside a mouth. If it's not too much trouble for you, I've put up all the finished pages (including a finished page 13) at my ftp...

Also, I don't mean to be a bother, but in that ftp there's also a clearer version of the habib/wolf fanart thing I did. Could that be updated too? If you could, I'd appreciate it.

I haven't really redrawn anything, I thought I'd just do some touch ups and experiments with the other pages. Little things, like...

Changed the places where I changed Wolf's colors, instead of bitmapped they're now full flashy and all smooth like.

Added some extra texture to flat areas like bricks.

Added details like a new hunter on page 4 and craters to the moon.

The main thing for the early pages is that I layerd on some shadows into the rooms to give them a more dark feel, I thought that would be more appropriate for the pre-electricity story and would help break up the "flatness" even more. If it's too much in some places for Rachel, I can pull it back a bit later.

Other than that, I'm done, fer reals. I'm going to try and work on my own comic again, or at least unless Rachel wants to give me an option on some more script action.

Hey Mr Caravaggio :) Firstly, I've just re-uploaded all of your pages - I haven't yet put the new version of the Habib/Wolf piece up, but I have some work to do on the fanart page, anyway, so hopefully that'll be sorted some time in the near future.

Secondly, I apologise for the mis-dating of your pages - I'm so sorry. I think when I originally put them up I had them correct, but when I was uploading Viger's next issue I thought there was something wrong because there were three elevens and I cut two out thinking they were versions of the same thing (that'll learn me for not double-checking everything). I've dated everything correctly now, so we'll get to see the last two pages of The Village again ;)

Good luck on working on your own comic :) I'm not sure what Rachel has planned ... did you want to write a script? I'm sort of umming and ahhing over one right now - I'm less of a comic writer and more of a comic minion, really, but we'll see how that plays out ;)

Could you put a note up to tell people the missing pages have been added in the notes in big letters? Most people visit every day/upload so they may not notice and think things are being reposted as a mistake.

How is your script 4 Karl going? I'd like to see it in progress.

You could do the script for both Caravaggio (which will be pure fanservice with nekkid Amethyst, Maudiah, Angel + Jessica) & Claude (who wants some hardcore punk action circa 70s Britain) if you've got the time for it too...

Welcome back Rachel.

I don't know what Rachel has planned. She wanted me to do something with a japanese blackaby, then for a while she wanted me to do some backgrounds for a viger story, but I haven't seen scripts for either so I don't know. I didn't know she was taking scripts as well as art from others too? Is that right?

Really, I'm willing to consider illustrating anything for anyone if I can see a script. Especially if there's fanservice... 8)

I'm not taking scripts from others... except Cissy, because she's legendary. I am in a PREDICTAMENT here. - I can't do anything!

You HAVE seen the script with the backgrounds, it's the next Veeger one (Issue #4!) the other one is still floating in my head with all its loverly fanservice

So the last version you posted is the final one though? There were pretty major changes between that and the previous, so I "kind of" felt like it was new.

Yeah, that's the final. But it's a Viger script which means she'll just put in what she wants when she draws it, and I'll write around it. The main backgrounds will be at the start with the evil creatures pwning each other, the explosion, Wilkes' mansion/party and the band background... which isn't much of them - most of our stuffs isn't super-picturesque anyway, but those would look MAD if you did them

Cissy - I just put up a separate thread (sticky, FANART - NEW ) for the new fanart we've recieved to go on the fan art thread. If you could make a note somewhere on the fanart page to tell people to remind us if their fan art isn't there it'd be great, I'm not POSITIVE I got all of it. I'll get to the links page when I have a chance.

So does she have any of it actually done? Maybe you could mention that we should start with just one page, maybe one with a background that won't be repeated, just so we can see if the process "melds".

None of it done yet, no. We're working on a piece for the Cornstalker Sampler, which means that the Issues are going to have to be secondary at the moment... but when it starts we can do that. Hopefully it will work well.
