What Sucks thread

I just figured out what Xanga footprints do, after wandering around with it active and am now finding that people who I wasn't really trying to contact are checking my page out. I feel awkward because none of them have actually said anything and one of them who I talk to a lot is looking through like every single page.
Not that I'm any better, but still.
Fricken' Xanga.

Er...yeah, I didn't explain that. They launched some program that lets you look at who's looking at your site, if you have it activated. If you don't, you can look at people with them only seeing your location. It's kinda neat but I didn't know I'd activated the thing and was randomly looking around. Now I'm looking at my thing and there's all these people I don't know and one person I do but only just found.

Eh?
First of all, my posts are mostly friends-only. Second of all, I could give you my first AND last name and you'd never find me.

Yeah, I've got Voyd and Snowy on there, but they're cool. 'Sides, if they wanted to mob me I got a nice big ocean for comfort.
I'd also like to add that there is another person with the same first and last name as me in the same class as me. I went to vote the other day and it took like five minutes just to narrow it down to TWO.
On a side note, I think my friend might have bruised my arm. That deserves a nice long whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.

tell me if and when i lose you here, kee?
is it really fair when you have a... 'disagreement' with one person in a group you hang out with and they go all grumpy and moody and go off continuously and you dont want to split up the group and make people choose but they wont stop going and acting like everyone is against them and like you turned everyone against them as well? ARG im crap at explaining...

So you had a disagreement with someone, and you turned the group against them because they were being bitchy and you didn't want to split up the entire group. Did I get it right?
I suggest hitting them with a cream pie. Seriously. Then give them a pie so they can hit you as well. It probably wouldn't help any, but it'd at least be silly.

heh, while both of your suggestions WOULD be fun...
not quite, Bone; he just kept leaving and prolly thinks the entire group's against him (or is at least going to complain about it) but i didn't even really try... gah i suck at explaining ><
this explains why i have to redo my tok oral...

I tend not to establish "groups" in the first place. Really, I just decide on people I appreciate and places we gravitate to. Maybe that's just a college thing though; there's no "lunch period," so there's really no responsibility or dependability.
Personally, I say gravitate toward the people you appreciate rather than a "group."
My two cents. I've always been unhappy in groups.

having your neighbours promise to lock up their dogs, only to wake up at 8:30 on a sunday morning to find that one of their stupid, flippin' dogs got to your rabbit

Choosing to keep your mouth shut. Sucks because you never know that it wouldn't have worked out, so you can't quite feel hurt; but at the same time you'll never know if it would have, so you can't quite feel ok. Just leaves you kinda numb for a long time.
