ok...my sister and i have been arguing about this for aaages...sooo...
do you eat mash (well...boiled) potato with salt or sugar? i say sugar damnit! but she thinks that's crazy

Mind you...it's easier to just heat up some frozen chips to get your potatoes.

I'd go with salt - little butter, maybe sour cream & chives...
But then again, it may be an unexplored culinary genre. Most Popcorn is served with butter & salt, for instance, but Kettle Corn popcorn is served with light sugar - and everyone loves caramel corn - so the market may be ripe for sugar spuds.
Interesting fact: Raw potatoes and apples are almost identical except for taste. Try plugging your nose and tasting a slice of fresh apple and fresh potato and you may not be able to tell which is which.
So - Not crazy... just odd.

you know, thats not very odd, my brother ticked me off, so I used there tooth brush to clean the tolit, and then brushed there potato off w/ it, and they though it was tasty, and i really hope my mom never reads this...
