"See ya downstairs, I s'pose," Said Rychon to Sakura as she saluted and headed down the stairs to the kitchen. "We headin' out any time soon? Probably a good idea."

The scene that greeted Queequeg when he returned to the kitchen after falling through the roof of his hijacked carriage was still made somber by a brooding Jasmine. Everyone else looked ready to go. Including ... CRAZY KNIFE WOMAN!!

Stopping himself from rushing over to her, he reminded himself not to hug people who tried to stab him, but still felt something needed to be done to change the atmosphere and get things moving. He looked over the group, to the slowly recovering Jasmine, to the crazy kife woman who'd just come downstairs and hadn't seen him yet. He grinned, knowing *just* how to cheer his employer up.

He walked across the kitchen, tapped Jasmine on the shoulder, snatched a mop from somewhere, and and swung it wildly so the wet mop-end slapped Rychon across the face.

Rychon almost fell from the force of the blow, but managed to catch the back of a chair and keep on her feet. She stayed remarkably calm, reaching a controlled hand up to her face to wipe the water from it.

"You'll get what's coming to you," She spat matter-of-factly, and headed for the door. Then she addressed the rest of the group, noticeably not including the mute in her gaze. "I'm heading up to the surface. I hear the riots are worse today; there's a few bold leaders vying for the throne. In any case, Nivali's due to arrive as promised."

"as I am sure you would know," he said in a hushed tone. "Well I don't see what you're waiting for? Chaos seemed to be your shtick, get a move on before you miss some pillaging. " He said waving her through the door with his hands. "We really should be going pretty soon though." He said matter-of-factually to the rest of the group.

(OK so may Yiddish wouldn't have been used, but oh well.)

"'M sure I'll see alla ya later," said Rychon, snickering, as she turned to go. She passed thru the doorway and disappeared. The door slammed shut, seemingly on its own.

"Depends on who you ask, really." Jasmine replied, stretching and almost falling from her perch on the counter. She could feel the fog clearing from her mind, but she wasn't entirely sure if that was a good thing.
"Despite what people say about age bringing wisdom, I don't agree with a bunch of senile old coots arguing for hours and nothing being done. Better to have either a group of people who are in tune with the people and will actually do what needs to be done or one person who knows what they're doing and keeps the people happy, healthy and safe than a council of loons.
But then again, maybe monarchy is suited to these people and maybe it isn't. So, should there even be a throne?"

"Philosophy from a hung-over one... Wow... Don't hurt your brain." He said to Voyd, as he felt a strong urge to leave. "Come on let's go... I am getting anxious and the longer we stay here, the easier to track."

Sakura was also anxious to leave, but only because the slight taste of action upstairs had brought about a thirst for more.

"Brodi's right, we should head off. I'm sure the inn keeper will catch onto us soon anyway. We haven't exactly been... normal guests."

Jasmine glared at Brodi before seeming to consider his suggestion.
"Piggy-back me?" She offered, taking another piece of ice and sucking on it, clicking it against her teeth loudly.

Jasmine frowned for a moment, still a bit hazy. "I think I can walk." She finally said, standing and wavering on her feet for a moment before she found her center of gravity. "And thanks for the thought, but I like being able to control what goes into my body myself, thanks." She murmured, forcing her hand to not rub at her neck. The memory of the ice in her throat and lungs was just a little too vivid.

"Eh were moving, Now." He said as he picked up jasmine and perched on his shoulder. "Don't try to fight it or I will strap you down, we don't have time for this, so let's get your things and go." He said as he went up the stairs to her room.

Jasmine considered arguing bfore shrugging inwardly and enjoying the ride. Things looked quite different from up here.
"Then what, Brodi, defender of the me?" She asked. Hmm... it seemed she was still slightly tipsy. Not good.

Well, not a terribly bad thing either... but a good thing to know.

"Then we will figure out what you need to do next and do it. Trying to cause as much mischief as possible along the way of course. I do more than protect you, you know." He was surprised at his good humour this morning and thought to himself, "This wont last long, something is going to happen and I am going to have to break someone."

"I like mischief..." Jasmine fell silent as she yawned slightly. Sleep would be awfully good now... but horribly, terribly bad. Must. Not. Sleep. Although if she was being carried...
No. Bad Jasmine. No sleep.
"Where can we cause the most trouble?" She mused, more for her own benefit than anyone else's. "I vote we set fire to copious amounts of alcohol. So kids won't drink. But not so that people get hurt. Unless they deserve it. But who deserves it?" This train of thought was going nowhere... shoot.

Brodi looked up at Jasmine, "Ehh, If that's what you want to do," and took a small bottle from his pocket and gave it to Jasmine,"it's gin. You're not going to burn my bottle vodka, unless that somehow keeps you alive." He reached the top of the stairs and turned towards Jasmine's room.
