We don't have any rivers. I don't think I've ever even seen a river. Slipped in a creek once (well, okay, just my shoe, and it was very shallow). Strange organisms began growing on my shoe when I put it in the sun to dry, so I don't think anything around here is clean... :shifty: . Also, that creek was home to a lot of dead crawfish (crayfish?), sooooo...yeah.

Ireland?!?! I've always wanted to go there..my art teacher is utterly obsessed with Ireland, she always talks in an Irish accent. She's sorta...insane.

The most evil Garth Brooks!!

I don't hate you, Karrde-san, although that guy is really weird.

My first sentence is a quote from a play my sister was in back when she in middle school. it was called "Food Wars", made fun of Star Wars, and instead of "Darth", they used "Garth", and one of the character's name was Brooks. Everytime I hear that guy's name, that all I can think of. XD

Did I forget to mention I don't have a proper Irish accent? I do quite a lot of hitch-hiking (nowadays, very difficult - more so than a few yearss ago) and naturally I meet a lot of people.
If I meet a local the first thing they ask after hearing me speak is: "So how are you enjoying your holiday here in Ireland?" They then guess that I here from: The Netherlands, England, America or Germany. I wouldn't mind but it is kind of hard to confuse a Dutch accent with an American accent and so forth. Most likely, it because I speak quite softly. Well, that and maybe when I was growing up I heard for my first 9 years quite a number of Dutch accents... :)
Nothing to see here. Move on.

Honestly, when I read your posts, I imagine a very soft British accent. Don't know why...

I believe it is the formality that is used in his post's that remind you of the British. British are usually accociated with being formal. At least the Britiah guy in my class is.

Ooooh, yeah, that's right, Voyd-san's an Aussie. I had forgotten.

I've always wondered why the sterotypical summer (i.e., the hot time) is depicted in the months of June through August, when there are countries out there where that isn't true. :shifty: Is that..racist? Country-ist?

I live in sunny CA and our winters are far too cold.

Sadly I'm heading either North or East for school. Dammit!
