I knitted a scarf for my mother, once.

That's a lie.

I crocheted a scarf for my mother.

It was a nice, soft wool, it was a pretty blue and green, but it was about as straight as Elton John. I have to work on my row consistency. Or stop crocheting. Thus far I've gone with the latter.

i dont really like sewing....
i made three cushions in year ten... in about a week (one per lesson)
mostly because everyone in that class hated me....
except HP... but she was away for that week....

one of mine is amusing - she sent me a card for my birthday saying that the 'angels took on look at me and said...' on the front and then on the inside there was a pic of some bikkies (hells angels) and said 'looks like we've got a new recruit!'

She sounds pretty cool, too.

I never actually knew GrandMary, she died before I was born. She found her way into a couple of poems I've written, but we never met.

She was pretty awesome from what I hear, though. She was a scientist, wrote a book about microbiology. Extra cool as a woman back in tha day.
