Wings are hard to draw realistically, especially if the being attatched to them is not an avian and thus designed for flight. Taking that Dor still has the same mass as sans wings, to make him fly would require massive wings. And massive muscles on his back to work those wings. He doesn't have massive back muscles....
But that's why this is fantasy; the laws of physics as we know them need not apply

Art history classes dictate, most artists find the female form the smoothest curves and the easiest strokes. Guys are difficult in the details.

definitely agree. females are easier to draw.
especially for females. which is understandable...

ive talked to quite a few guys who say girls are really hard to draw....
and i laugh. ^^
because i cant draw guys.

well, hes wearing human clothes
looks quite freaked out

is at least knee-deep in water.

does this, perchance, have anything to do with Castle Nymndemise 'falling' as Rose said? perhaps Dor is seeing his mother and is very very confused?
