So, she's found a small robot instead of a large hairy monster (I had such a Lolbot moment when she opened her eyes...). Some would say this is a decent trade, but I disagree!

Nah, it's cool. Anyway, I'm curious, Kirb. I know you must get asked this a lot, but do you read/are you influenced by Gunnerkrigg Court? (No-one's gonna hold it against you if you are; the world needs more comics this good)

Nope, not really. I didn't even really know about Gunnerkrigg Court until like a month ago, most of my storyline and script was finalized back in Febuary. I can see where you'd see the similarities, though; especially with the introduction of Solina's robot.

I'm really curious about the robot, actually. It seems tonally (not totally ^_--) out-of-place compared to the mix of gothic-horror and sitcom/drama we've had so far. It's a bit cutesy, though I sense that's not a massively important detail. We haven't seen robots before, either...

Or maybe it's not a robot..? Maybe it just looks like one...
