A new comic! Huzzah!
I've had similar thought-conversations with my younger self. It's fun to compare notes and see how things turned out! I think I would get along with myself very well.

I actually did this meme, kinda. i just drew me then & now. i'll eventually get it scanned.

I would have imparted knowledge that children should know like "don't worry about what other people think of you" and "be yourself" and crap, but by 8, I already had that down. Having coke bottle glasses, sleeping in a back brace, and having to get on the short bus during recess to go to your gifted classes kiiiinda makes a kid figure that out pretty quick. ^_^

Yeah, I was dorky, hopeless at anything involving sports, had coke bottle glasses, my nose was always buried in a book and I still had my hair.

There are a few things I'd love to tell my 8 year old self, though.

Same here. Thick glasses and always reading. I was ROTC though so I was active and avoiding gym. BWAHAHAHAHA!

Oh yeah!

When I was 8, I also used to make monster models, I still have them too!

So, when I wasn't reading and being a social misfit, my fingers were usually covered with bits of glue and model paint.
