Co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons dies at age 69

The lives of two self-proclaimed geek/gamer chicks as told by themselves. Sadly, we don't have to exaggerate much from reality.

Co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons dies at age 69

Post by Dennis Kininger »

I know there are D&D fans here and thought I'd mention this:

One of these days I'll succeed in finally learning how to play this on a regular basis.

My condolences to his family and friends.

I heard the news a few days ago... T.T Such a loss.

...this is a good place to come back to after my absence, no?

You're always welcome here. I've missed you. :shucks:

PS: I haven't forgotten about the rest of your poems, I just keep get sidetracked with things to take up my time. I'll have comments on the rest of them soon.

So sad! I have decided to immortalize my first d20 as a necklace.

A friend of mine told me this the day it occurred. I appropriately replied, "No biggie. We just need to find a 13th level cleric to cast resurrect... and a really expensive diamond."

But that's only if the dm is making you use actual components. Who does that anyway? X3

Sorry but I've never played D&D even though I would like the chance too, but it is sad to see someone so influential in soo many people's life pass on.

P.S. (bi-polar me speaking) Special K, I lol'ed @ your post...ha ha.

*Sigh!* Yeah, one of these days, I'll find a way to play this on a semi-regular basis.

**Great comment, Kristy...I'm sure that would've made Gygax smile.
