What did you think of his accent? Did I do it in a way that was easily readable?

I worried about that a bit when I made the strip.

Well as a southerner I'd say your use of the accent was fairly accurate. Though it's hard for me to tell since most people tell me I have a northern accent. For that matter northerners tell me I have no accent at all.

Though southerners actually have various different accents based on where they're from. I'm from one of the larger cities so accents are too thick around here but some of the people from the backwoods and smaller towns have comically thick accents.
