To GIMP or not to GIMP

To GIMP or not to GIMP

Postby Zanzarra on Fri Apr 29, 2005 12:30 pm

So, this is the deal:

Recently, I installed GIMP 2.2something on my PC, now I am comparing it with my actual picture software, which is Picture Publisher.

To me, GIMP seems to be a bit more professional and versatile ( and complex ), but what do you think? Should I change software, with the drawback of getting used to a new tool, or should I stick with my old one?
Or should I get a completely different software?

Just for your information, I'm planning to get flash again some day, but I refuse to do all my work on it.

Your opinions, now, haste, please!

I don't know Picture Publisher, but having more tools in your toolbox is usually worth the trouble.

So, today's comic has been done with GIMP, as well as all the new titles in the old comics, so ww can compare...

Hm, I need to work on my filling technique.
