Lord of Monsoons- An online graphic novel

Postby c-rallis on Tue May 10, 2011 3:55 pm

Hello there!
Just registered and I thought I should introduce myself.
I'm Chris and I just started my first webcomic, which also happens to be my first comic ever. The title is Lord of Monsoons and it's based on a true story. It's about the life and times of a man who rose from being cabin boy of an English merchant ship to become practically master of Siam (Thailand) in the 1680s. An amazing story for a soldier-of-fortune!

This is the cover and the 1st page of LoM...

Thought I'd share it with you. Please post your comments and suggestions!

Cheers!

Technically, this forum requires minimum 20 pages before you advertise the comic*. Since the forum isn't exactly a hive of activity, I'll allow it, but you know - just fyi.
Anyways, welcome and everything. That's some good drawing, what were you doing before webcomics?

*The idea is that a few pages isn't enough to get potential readers interested.

It's good. But I'd have to say the 20 page rule would have done you good in this, there needs to be more before I know I'll want to read it.

Also your pages don't seem to link together correctly, I couldn't get to the 3rd page from the first link so I had to come back to the forum then go back in.
