Deadhead Zero: The Liveliest Comic On The Web!

Post by mikemacdee »

Deadhead Zero is sci-fi crime fiction starring a quippy detective with an unusual trait. If you like mysteries, guns, neo-noir and cyborg women, this is the webcomic for you! Rated pg-13 for violence, innuendo, general creepiness, and occasionally crude language.

Deadhead Zero is updated 2 days a week and as of this post has 22 pages in the archive, including one complete storyline. There's also plenty of other useless crap to look at on the site.

Pretty Clever! It looks like some genre mixing so far.

Your style works really well here. Especially the black and white.

My only suggestion would be to put your comic on your front page. No need to hide it! :D

Actually I hide it to avoid spoilers. The stories rely on an element of mystery and suspense that sorta fizzles if the newest page is right up front, especially if you're not supposed to know who the villain is 'til the end.

Thanks so much for the comments, y'all.

This is really good. I like the entire atmosphere and overall "feel" of it.

I'm having computer issues of the terminal variety, and won't get my new machine til mid-December. So updates won't be as easy as they used to be, and therefore will be more sporadic than usual (cough cough). I know it's been a while since my last update, but the comic isn't dead or on hiatus. I'm still working on it!
