It will astound you! It will confound you! Hop on board Professor Horatio Q. Saltine's latest and greatest contraption yet, and see with your own eyes the exotic worlds of unexplored stars from the comfort of the most luxurious scientific airship ever built by man...the new Astrodynamic Dirigible!

If you have not had the opportunity yet to steer your Documatic Calculron (or other webrowser) to http://www.professorsaltine.com, I recommend that you do so. In the olden days we would have a skilled barker encouraging you in and two stout guards with cudgels ready to take your coin, but apparently lots of material is free in this "information age". This site chronicles the adventures of myself and my stout crew as we brave the depths of space. We travel aboard our mighty HMS Stalwart, the first of her class, and explore strange new worlds in the name of the British Empire.

If you have not checked out this excellent piece of webcartoonery yet, please do so. The plot (and our vessel) is just starting to take off. But be forewarned: this website has numerous image files well in excess of 100 kilobytes each. If you are running an early model difference engine, I recommend using two large men and a team of mules to operate it if you wish to view a comic within the hour.

I suppose it would be a disservice to forgo mentioning my chroniclers. Jon Otis and Jacob Stockton have worked hard over the past few months to get this "website" operational. The graphical portrayal of myself, colleagues and inventions is second to none, and the artwork is rapidly improving.

As of this writing, my vessel is just starting to begin her journey. There is no better time to jump on the bandwagon and see with your own eyes how the Astrodynamic Dirigible will redefine humanity in the 20th century, and ensure the domination of the British Empire of both Earth and the ether of space for centuries to come.
