Life Sucks

Post by Mdjt »

Okay...as much as I hate to plug/pitch/promote, I have decided to go ahead anyway...so...

Life Sucks is a comic based around one Mackworth T. Jones, and the troubles he has encountered since moving out of his parents house. He isn't having much luck in his job, with the girl next door, or his room mate...anyway, I'm hoping to generate new readers and this seemed the way forward...so, plug, plug, plug!

The artwork is a little rushed on some comics and the backgrounds are God awful, but these are aspects I shall be concentrating on!

Feedback is welcomed, and thanks for your time...the address is...

This comic is pretty good. I kind of groaned when I saw it was another "guy and his wacky roomies" strip, but I like the characters, and some of the comics are just hilarious. The author-as-monkey aspect was a nice homage to Frank Cho (or a coincidence, but I liked it). I would highly recommend that you keep the latest update on the home page, though. That is almost rule #1 in having a webcomic.

Keep drawin' 'em and I'll keep readin' 'em!

Thanks for the comment, yeah, I guess the downside it is another "guy and his wacky roomies" strip, but on the upside, it's not another "funny observations of the gaming industry" webcomic (although my comic does have it's fair share of gaming references!). I'm not sure exactly how the author-as-monkey happened, I guess I hate to draw myself, but like to draw monkeys. But tell me, who doesn't enjoy drawing monkeys? No-one, that's who. As for the latest update on the front page...I may play about a bit and see what happens.

Thanks a lot!
