GTA: The Webcomic

Yep. It's a fan production based off the stories I wrote for an RPG thread on a GTA forum. It's about the first webcomic for this game series, and it's set in the present (i.e. 2005,) after GTA3.

The main character is Zeno Forelli, a member of the once-notorious Forelli Mafia. His crime family experienced its downfall starting with the "St. Mark's Bistro" mission in GTA:SA, and he ended up fleeing after witnessing the death of his uncle in the "Lips Last Lunch" mission in GTA3. The current story arc has him returning to Liberty City after some years as a street racer to work as a driver for the Colombian Cartel.

As per suggestions in the Technique Tips & Tricks forum, I've recently switched to the 'sin city' style seen in the first few pages of the comic.

This is actually pretty good, which makes it seem unfortunate to me that you had to name it GTA, which is kinda' limiting if you ever want to do more with it. I'm sure it brings in visitors though. It's really up to you; this honestly could've been set in any city, with your own title and such. Maybe you'll change it if you get popular so you can market it if you want.

Best of luck though. Keep up the good work.

I still think he should just change the name to something less specific. GTA can only fuel you so far.

I like it, I wish I could understand it better, since I haven't played GTA since Liberty city, and only then I spent most of the time performing 'police missions' in the tank.

Surprisingly good. I read "GTA" next to "webcomic" and thought that I was about to read a disaster. Instead I ended up reading through the whole thing and liking it, heh.

I've only one suggestion. I think you should work on the heads and faces some more. If the comic were your own original work or about something else I wouldn't care so much, but your anime-lite style sorta clashes with the look of the games.

I'm not into this style of story. That said:

The black and white art style at the start was good.

My favorite colour piece was http://gtaweb.comicgenesis.com/d/20051217.html

The buildings, cars, inanimate objects are all done well.

Story wise, I found it a little slow but you are setting up the story. I expect things will be heating up.
