Speaking of storyline, here it is: A boy is born under very mysterious (and explodey) circumstances. His people (the Norse) exile him (with a catapult) to avoid any bad luck and dirty diapers that he may bring. He is adopted by a reluctant and grumpy Polar Bear, who names him Binky. However, Binky is a stupid name and the boy calls himself Star. Star is also a stupid name, but meh. Meanwhile, the country is taken over by an army from Atlantis. After a few years (but only about a dozen comics) the boy has prematurely grown into an adult. Since he believes himself to be a polar bear, however, he doesn't think growing up in 3 years is strange. He leaves home in order to satisfy a desire to travel. He lands hip deep in dookie when his feeble attempts at disguising himself as a human are seen as a rebellion against the Atlanteans. Also, Star is a cowboy for some reason.
That's just the beginning, but I won't give anything else away plot-wise. Other facts about the comic include:
Original sprite comic (made em myself)
230+ comic archive
Miniseries comic on Saturdays
Extensive catalogue of places, people, and concepts from the story
Only one fart joke
You can see the art style in my sig, but here's another alternate banner anyway:
And now, in the hopes that I've gotten some attention (and maybe even interest), here are some links to certain points in the story.
The beginning.
Where it gets good.
The fart joke.
The first chapter of the comic just ended. The mainpage currently has a (very good) guest comic on display, so don't judge me based on that. Unless you think it's awesome.
So. Thanks for any positive feedback, and thanks as well for any constructive criticism.
