I was joking, I thought he got it, I'm sorry. It was meant as playful sarcasm, and not a derail. I apologize. I forget sometimes that these forums aren't as open to a little playful nudge like others.

wow. that takes some majore balls and endurance. i don't even know if i could do it.

first movie they make, they're gonna call it catgirldo. just wait. :)

AWK!!! No Don't make a movie called "catgirldo" I'd have to come up with a new screen name and my body could never tolerate that much alcohol again!

I didn't feel comfortable making comments unless I gave you a fair look so I thought I SHOULD read them all to really understand what your strip is all about. It wasn't that tough... only hurt just a little.
(No body ever reads all MY archieves... midway through they get drowsy, fall asleep and die...I need to fix that someday.)

Anyway, I think you got some good advice. I really think if you concentrate on YOUR artwork and get a plot going, your hit rate will improve.

(BTW... they already made a movie based on my life.. I think they called it "Jackass..")

Best Wishes

i read most of the comics but i don't have much to say. i will say though that you should tie the comics together more because now it just seems like two different comics which is distracting, especially during storylines.

I don't know what happened, but somewhere in between you guys visiting here and me getting in a skiff with Theater Hopper (I may have said some things that made their way back to Tom) I got 6,000 hits yesterday and already nearly 2000 by noon today

Nothing like a good feud to grab some hits. Now to just make Scott Kurtz angry... you'll be set.

NOTES ON:

A) Profanity = funny?

This one: http://classmishaps.f2o.org/kamikaze/ar ... .php?id=16 = really good

You have a nice sense of humor. Like that strip where he got kicked in the balls. Sometimes you play too much off the idea that the characters are crazy.

the ones that are badly drawn are usually funny
like that 1 out of 100 White Ninja strips that are funny

http://classmishaps.f2o.org/kamikaze/ar ... .php?id=33 = gross, why did you do that

This: http://classmishaps.f2o.org/kamikaze/ar ... .php?id=35 = pointless, why did i read all that

4th wall should be intact at all times

Under this part of my stats for the month called Total Pages it reads 11717 - I've never been too sure what this means though.

Fuck yes.

Heheh, actually I don't use profanity in my strips very often anymore, not that I did that often back when I did use it.

When Chuck and I started doing Class Mishaps, we had one mantra:

"Cussing is a tool, not a crutch. Don't be afraid to use it, but don't rely on it either."

If cussing can enhance a joke, that's the time we'll decide to use it. If the joke isn't funny without cussing, we won't add it just to make it funny.

My hits

My hits have risen over the past few days as well... Logically speaking, using MY strip as the acid test, this can only mean one thing,... the hit counter is broken.

Or it could be that a lot of people who don't comment read the forum pages and decided to see what yours was all about. The real test will be next month when you don't have a topic going in here and whether or not your hit rate drops. (A very annoying thing!)

(Whoa! "Stolle" gets 11K hits a day!!!! There's that many people in the world inclinded to read his strip? I need a new lock on my door!!! {this is a joke by the way.... Joke... OK Capiche? with that many hits maybe I should change MY style!} )

Best Wishes
