Good stuff. It was more from an editting stand-point, you have a lot of basic foreshadowing across a good few pages, which could've been condensed. But I understand that it's a style thingcollapse wrote: Vim Fuego: Heh, I've never been particularly creative with introductions, nor a big fan of flashback scenes. Dunno why, but that's just me.
Yes, I'm definitely planning to develop the characters.
I am already frustrated with the comic medium. Actually putting what I want into still images and boxes is making me crazy - I'm considering yanking 'Varmints' and just animating it when I have time. How in hell do you people do it?

Cool comic I love the style, but the eye-seering black and white kinda hurts my eyes...
I know you don't want to do color (I read the FAQ) but would a simple gray scale be to much trouble? Fill in just little portions with grey so it's easier to tell the BG from the Characters? Or maybe just make the comic background not totally white, make it really light gray instead?
edit: Do your friends really have all those guns

I blur the background to distinguish it from the characters/foreground. Shading it slightly gray might work, but I'm afraid it would increase the file size. I'll try it and see.
No, they don't have all those guns... I have all those guns!
They're actually all airsoft, but with the exception of the Desert Eagle, they are all mine.

Your reply to my post brought your comic to my attention.
Interesting story. That kind of scenario used to seem unrealistic until 911. That's a good setting for a lot of social commentary. Actually, it seems kind of prophetic. I don't know how much research you've done about govern contingencies or secessions, coup d'

"Warrior Richardson produces a cartoon called 'Hey, Whoodi', in which two 12 year old friends, Whoodi and Fawlly, offer uniquely different perspectives on urban life. We think the comic is contemporary and provocative, even occasionally edgy."--Greg Huskisson, editor of The Columbus Post [www.whoodi.com]
