Um... hi.

This is where I come to shamelessly pimp my creative endeavors, right? Okay, here goes.

"Et-cetera" follows the life of Bingo Weiss, a 20-year-old girl trying to figure out life in her first apartment. She has her best friend (Luciano "Lucky" Gambiani) for support, plus a brand new roommate (Ophelia McGillan). While the next door neighbor (Megara Cezanne) may be more of a pain in the arse than a help, she's there--and dating Ophelia.

Not everything is as it first appears (rule #1 of "Et-cetera"). Lucky is a millionaire, Megara isn't insane, Ophelia isn't totally cold and Bingo isn't a totally self-absorbed goth.

The comic follows Bingo through the travails of finding a roommate, getting used to lesbians, understanding not all boys want a "happily ever after" and trying to deal with psycho Christian parents through it all.

Currently boasting 167 comic strips, with a double-length color strip every Sunday.

Sounds like an interesting comic. It has pretty nice artwork too. I'm checking out the archives now.

I just found your comic, and I like it! The art improved really quickly, and I like the writing. I'm doing a comic with a kinda goth central character, and when I saw this one I was like "hey! cool! I'm not alone!" heh. Bookmarked!

Looing at the current comic, I'd say the thing you need to work on is the facial structure of people. The guy on the right has a chin that's too far to the right, which causes the line from the cheekbone to the chin to become far too slanted. I think if you look at how some people draw faces in comic books, it can give you a good idea of how to construct the head.

Your writing is very good. Crisp, to the point and funny. You definately have talent. If you want to nitpick the art you can find a few things that might need improvement (long necks are not a particular favorite of mine), but you have your own unique style and I really dig it. I see improvement since your first strips and you'll only get better. Overall, a nice piece of work. Keep up the good job.
Edit: I'm having a hard time reading your general text on your website (not in comic text, that's fine) it's the other text. As if there is an outline effect or shadow effect. Not sure what's going on. May just be my computer.

Well...even though this is an old thread, I'll give my two cents anyways...

...the writing's pretty decent soap opera-ish stuff...it pulls you in, though it looks like you've set yourself up for the same problem "Friends" had. It all revolves the whole unrequited love between Lucky and Bingo (oh, and your names are way too silly) when they get together it's hard to say where things will go...aside from pulling them apart and sticking them back together a dozen times.

Art wise...it's not terrible. You could use some work on anatomy. Also, I think you're trying to make Bingo look like a sort of emo-ish type...but with her black-eye shadowed eyes, gigantic black lips and collosal rack...she comes off looking like more of a hooker. Considering she is in fact rather conservative, the look doesn't match the character much at all.
