Sorry, I'm a little slow due to a broken arm...here is more detail on my new comic...

BOSTON METAPHYSICAL SOCIETY (http://www.bostonmetaphysicalsociety.com) is about an ex-Pinkerton detective and his female Medium/spirit photographer partner who battle supernatural entities in late 1800's Boston.

There's something weird about your comic, it displays with jagged lines, with a lot of aliasing. Perhaps changing compression settings would be in order?

Yes, there is a pixalation issue when I convert the file. When I have time, I'll download paint.net see if that works better. The files that are ready to print look great!

For the issue with the lines, do you know what resolution your illustrator is doing the art? I used to have a glitchy line issue with my comic, so I started scanning in my art at 600 dpi and doing all the digital work at 600 dpi and then saving it at a higher quality. This helped a lot.

The art and writing is really good on the recent pages. I especially like the effort put into the backgrounds, which is something that is usually lacking in webcomics.

Have you ever seen a book called ""1,000 Steampunk Creations?" It's an excellent source for inspiration. I'm working on a steampunk graphic novel at the moment and I came across this book at my library and it is filled with so much great stuff. Worth looking into if you haven't already. Tell your illustrator about it for sure.

Emi is doing everything at 300 dpi right now. I don't think her software allows any higher, but I will pass on your comments to her. I know she draws on a tablet.

And thanks for the heads up on the "1000 Steampunk" book. I will check it out. I know I've been sending her tons of stuff from the web as we are working on the 2nd issue now and there are more gadgets.
