School Spirit - 1100 Strips.

Post by Dutch! »

G'day, everyone. Two short mentions here.

It's almost the end of the year again, so that means I'm starting to put together the End Of Year Report Strip. If you haven't followed School Spirit previously, or when it was originally a Comic Genesis strip itself, this strip is written around the various critiques, reviews or reader responses I pick up through the year. At this time of year I ask the readers to send in their own comments and I make up the Report strip around those. It's like and end of year school report, just about the kids and the strip. If I have to write them this time of year, so can my readers, eh?

If you're not familiar with School Spirit, it's about primary (elementary) school kids and the spirits in the cemetery next door. Here's a quick look at one of the strips:

If you want to take part, leave something I can use here, or comment on the site itself. Either way is fine, and whatever you wish to comment down is fine too. I'll use whatever I can, good, bad or indifferent. I'm looking to have the strip up by the 20th or 22nd of December.

Which leads to number two.

The final storyline of the year (number 94 in total...wow!) is about to start, but I'm making it a longer one to take the count nicely up to 1100 strips. To fit it in before my End Of Year Series though, I'll have to update daily to get them in. So from Tuesday, November 29th, I'm temporarily increasing my update schedule to seven days a week. Once this storyline finishes up, I'm reverting back to thrice weekly again. So lots of days for you all to wander by and have a look, eh?

Cheers.

Thanks for being excited, Cuddly. :)

After a week or so on five separate forums, it's nice to have seen at least one response! :)

Still continuing with the daily updates for another two weeks or so. Two more weeks for you to be excited in. And time for lots of other people to give it a look too. :P

Cheers.

The day has arrived. School Spirit has reached 1100 strips. That's just like the 100 strip milestone, except this time there's already a thousand strips in front of them!

Cheers.
