Joshua is a young writer for a women's magazine, who has to move out of his old apartment and find a new one. It is then when he finds what seems the perfect place: A big apartment with a cheap rent, that only comes with one condition, he has to be the manager of the building as long as he stays in apartment one. Without really thinking about it, Joshua takes the job, but after the first day in his new house, he realizes that maybe there was a reason why the apartment contract had that condition added in.

Updates Monday, Wendsday and Friday, Chapter two started last week.

Check it out!

Hello! Well it's about time, I guess.

I like it. I'm very fond of the use of minimalist colur, Schindler's list style, to give emphasis to characters. You've only just started with the ominous "evil scene?" it's not fair! You were building up to that!

Anyways, I can't hate your art, it's quite sweet, and of course, there's the obligatory fem-boy. :shucks:

Also minamalist web design, but very post-modern and very functional, I feel on a whole, it suits what you're aiming for well.

Oh, thank you :) The color part is an experiment that I hope will make sense as the story goes. And I promise I won't let the evil cliff hanger hold for much longer. At the end of chapter two, there will be a lot of answers.

I'm also glad you liked the site design. I'm incredibly insecure about that as I can't do much flashy stuff.

I just read through your first chapter and I have to say I see a lot of potential. Crazy tenents and potential soul stealing? Cool. As of yet I can't say I have a good handle of the characters, but I do like how you only offer glimps of their personalities of the ones you have introduced, plus a sense of forboding for the others. ^^

The art, while very anime/manga influence, has (and I don't know if you intended it or not) a very art deco feel to it. Thats what attracted me to browse it from your picture. The light watercolorish bits of color you've been adding are an interesting touch, and considering your main characters still remain in black and white while your tenents are in color... one can only wonder what that means. Another comic that was black and white but employed color for characters was Sordid City Blues, which is worth checking out if you have the time.

Overall, I'd say its a promising comic. :D I don't exactly know how strange its going to get when the odder tenents start showing up, but at the moment it seems pretty decent. Plus, you update three days a week consistantly, which just flat out impresses me. :shucks:

Keep up the good work![/url]

Hi!

Thank you for your critique. And yeah, I'm very influenced by Art Deco, especially by Mocha, so I always think of him when I start coloring :)
And yes, I can tell you that the color has a reason to be -but that's coming up soon in the plot. Also, thank you for the recomendation, I'll be checking that comic soon. :)

I hope you stay for the second chapter, when the rest of the crazy tenants make their appearance.

Hey. I read through your comic and found it to be really enjoyable. The style and color I love really much. Theres not much I can say that the others haven't. The art is very attractive and the story very intriguing. I'm already looking forward to the next update.

The only thing I can say was that at times (two or three at most) I felt the comics ended with a dramatic ending for something ordinary. Maybe that's your writing style but it felt... out of place maybe? More than likely it's just me being sleepy after a long day. Keep up the great work and know that I've got this under my bookmarks.

Oh, wow. Thanks :)

I'm still working with the cliffhanger thing, because you're right... at times the resolution is quite ordinary. The thing is, well, I'm not yet used to the one page a day thing, and I'm afraid that without a cliffhanger, people won't want to come back :shucks: I just have to get used to that, to stop doing it. hopefully. Any advices on that?

I'm very happy you liked the story and that you'll be coming back. I hope you still are inerested when you meet all the other tenants :)
