Hey look, an unguarded forum to do comic.. 'pitching'. 'cuz whoring would be bad.
Crowfeathers is a supernatural western/horror/fantasy epic. The main character is Chase Corbeau, a seemingly normal boy in Arizona Territory, except unbeknownst to him, his father was the god Thunderbird. This unlikely heritage makes him a 'jinku,' a.k.a. a half-breed monster snubbed by the full blooded gods [nature spirits].
The intro begins in the present day, while the main story is a giant flash back to 1882. Every chapter is a cliffhanger.
Rated Web 14, updates in full chapters as finished, 19 chapters currently.
Comments/crits/etc. welcome and encouraged. XD

I'm glad that you have the link in your sig ... you kinda didn't share a link in your post!
I love the archive layout, I haven't seen that style before. The navigation of your comic is also pretty good, if a little non-standard. Still easy to use and easy on the eyes.
What's your update schedule? As far as I'm concerned, comics are always better in colour, but that takes a lot longer.
I'm not really digging the Manga / Western crossover (I'm not really a big fan of either) but that's just my personal taste. The story seems to be well thought out and the pacing is fairly decent, if a little slow in places. (I think that's more from me not getting into the story - the forums have lots of people who really liked it.)

Sorry, I thought the giant signature image was obvious. XD
Everything's fairly original since I made it all myself... I hadn't really looked at all that many webcomics until really, really recently, and hadn't read webcomic tutorials until... just now. heh. Who's this Scott McCloud person I keep hearing about? ^o^
The updates come in chapters about monthly. There's not a set schedule... it's like indie print comics. Yes, I am a dinosaur stuck in print rules.

I've actually been reading and enjoying your comic for quite some time... I found you through Buzzcomix several months ago.
I find it very "different" from a lot of the other stuff I've read out there, and I like it a lot. I like a lot of the fantasy elements you've introduced and the way they're implimented in the comic itself.
Sorry I've never commented on it before - I really should have. I've meant to send you an email for the longest time...
