TEDDY BEAR ANTI-CHRIST: Season 2

Post by TBAC »

If you missed Season 1, now is a good time to jump in and see what all the fuss is about. Mostly the fuss is from peoples like your mother that don't want you reading comics like this. However, it's the only comic known to have prevented at least 1 suicide . . . unfortunately it's caused 12 others. . . so far.

Lucy lives with her mommy (a "HO") and Unkey Jewwy, who isn't very nice, to say the least. She's not having a very good life. Then Teddy (a.k.a. "Red Ted") comes into her life. Teddy is her best friend, her only friend, and the only real question is whether or not Unkey Jewwy will survive the night.

"Depressingly funny!" -- says The New York Times (not affiliated with THE New York Times)

"Haunting and sad and funny." -- Brad Pitt's fetus.

"Get that outta my face!" -- Bobcat Goldthwaite

"If I weren't a heartless robot, I'd be weeping right now." -- Donald Rumsfeld.

Season 2 begins Monday January 30th -- Bring your own Meds.

Looking forward to it.

I like the idea you have of going in seasons, seeing how they do, so that it could easily have an end-point after a season if need be. I think most, if not all the comics I read (including mine), work on a more epic standpoint, where there's no seasons, just a long run. Some don't have a choice, but some do, and I find it interesting to see a comic working on that path.

I think it was only in consideration of seeing whether or not another season was wanted or worth making. I like the model, actually, and I bet there are some webcomicers who would find it useful (particularly those who have trouble keeping a steady update schedule.)

Actually, that's a damned good point. Maybe I should consider working in "seasons". Hmm...
