Fire down the street

Today was a rather exciting day. These are some photos taken of a fire just down the road from where I work. I thought they were interesting enough to share.

A service station at the next road went up in flames when the tanker filling there caught fire. A few hours later. it was still burning and we were told to evacuate the building so I went home. Amazingly, no injuries! (To anybody, not just us.) There's a spectacular video of it blowing up here.

Fireballs are indeed awesome - so long as nobody gets hurt. Then they're terrible.

That video was incredible. I'm glad no one was hurt - all those firefighters running around when the thing blew could've been in real trouble.
