Well having more than one funny part would be too much to expect from SNL.Dr Legostar wrote:that was pretty much the only funny part of SNL last night.Prettysenshi wrote:I'm not a fan of SNL, but it was very funny tonight apparently. Tina Fey and Amy Poeler? teamed up to play Palin and Clinton. Hilarity.

And to think, it was only today that an article in the Denver Post was criticizing the media for going too soft on Palin.Paul Escobar wrote:The New York Times: "Throughout her career, Ms. Palin has pursued vendettas, fired officials who crossed her and blurred the line between government and personal grievance." A very interesting (and incriminating) article.

Of course, before that they were saying the media was too soft on Obama.![]()
And before that...![]()
My sister has gone completely gaga over McCain because of Palin. It drives me nuts, because she is completely tuning out whenever I point out Palin's numerous flaws. Hell, she even admitted that the main reason she was supporting McCain was because Palin was a woman. I seriously need to help her with her critical thinking skills.
One of my aunts is doing the same. I want to slap her.Dreamaniaccomic wrote:And to think, it was only today that an article in the Denver Post was criticizing the media for going too soft on Palin.Paul Escobar wrote:The New York Times: "Throughout her career, Ms. Palin has pursued vendettas, fired officials who crossed her and blurred the line between government and personal grievance." Well, I would, but she's very, VERY good at aiming her kicks at a sensitive region of my anatomy. And if I slapped her, that's a good five or ten kicks to that region.Ahaugen wrote:no no no ... you need to slap the stupid out of herDreamaniaccomic wrote:And to think, it was only today that an article in the Denver Post was criticizing the media for going too soft on Palin.Paul Escobar wrote:The New York Times: "Throughout her career, Ms. Palin has pursued vendettas, fired officials who crossed her and blurred the line between government and personal grievance." That is barbaric and tantamount to blaming the victim for what happened. This woman makes me sick and the more that's uncovered about her the more I despise her.Yeahduff wrote:Palin also doesn't care about rape victims. "Muslims are bad evil oppressive monsters" she'll smile and call, while she's within spitting distance of the "rape victim should be stoned with the rapist" idealsLaemkral wrote:That is barbaric and tantamount to blaming the victim for what happened. http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2008/ ... ndex1.html" Another valley activist, Philip Munger, says that Palin also helped push the evangelical drive to take over the Mat-Su Borough school board. "She wanted to get people who believed in creationism on the board," said Munger, a music composer and teacher. "I bumped into her once after my band played at a graduation ceremony at the Assembly of God. I said, 'Sarah, how can you believe in creationism -- your father's a science teacher.' And she said, 'We don't have to agree on everything.'
"I pushed her on the earth's creation, whether it was really less than 7,000 years old and whether dinosaurs and humans walked the earth at the same time. And she said yes, she'd seen images somewhere of dinosaur fossils with human footprints in them."
Munger also asked Palin if she truly believed in the End of Days, the doomsday scenario when the Messiah will return. "She looked in my eyes and said, 'Yes, I think I will see Jesus come back to earth in my lifetime.'"
