CaptainClaude wrote:"how about an island with dinosaurs on it?"

good logic there.
Sure, if you're into fighting mad scientists who are riding mind-controlled dinosaurs.

And who wouldn't be?!

People who want to be mad scientists who ride mind-controlled dinosaurs?

Because I suspect there'd be more people in that group.

But then you could be a mad scientist riding a mind-controlled dinosaur who is fighting against other mad scientists riding mind-controlled dinosaurs!

There are only two words for that:

FUCKING

EPIC

Back on topic.

HOLY CRAP.

That was the most epic movie I've seen in ages. >< That's the first time I've called an ending and not been disappointed, but rather, traumatized that they'd actually do what secretly I've pleaded for every movie to do. I've never, ever, ever saw a movie dare do that. It's not specifically what happened, but repeatedly shattering what was supposed to happen, twisting and toying with stereotypes in such a way to produce something hysterical, horrifying, something with a hundred emotions twisted into those 40 mintutes.

Plus the music was bloody good too.

I want a poster, I want the movie, and it's worth every penny of the download fee and more.

I would pay 20 bucks for the DVD, like any other movie I'd buy... there is no question about it, that is one of the best movies I've seen this year. Great acting, great music, it may be the only supervillain musical I have ever saw... it was... dangit... wow. Dr. Horrible is such a great main character...

Dangit.

Plus he's hot too. Mm, the goggles...

The story was... wow... look, it needed to be 2 hours long and in theatres!

OBSESS.

Yeah, I didn't see a happy resolution to the whole thing in only thirteen minutes, so what I was secretly dreading happened... =(
It was a well written ending, but I can't say that I enjoyed it... Damn you Whedon! Now this is what I'll be thinking of when I watch Serenity on Sunday...

I loved it because it was what I would call... a bittersweet ending.

Aaaaaaand it left me wanting more.

Hey, I tire of happy endings. Besides, it was a POSITIVE ending, in a way. Dr. Horrible will likely become a horribly excellent villain after this. ^_^

Are you questioning Joss Whedon's artistic integrity?! You monster!

Besides, surely I can't be the only one who's already figured what the Doc's next big project is gonna be with all that new money and equipment he's got rolling in. It's like the textbook mad scientist thing to do.

The 'did you really have to do that' didn't really pop up for me, since the overarching plot was pretty much textbook, TEXTBOOK villain background.

So really I was thinking 'this was awesome but it would be better if you strayed from the tired old cliche, and maybe, you know, gave the girl a personality or made her likable'.

I can't watch the second video; it just keeps buffering and buffering and buffering, dammit. I feel so behind the times!
