Ohmygosh everyone's are so good!
And now I'm going to weigh down this page with images because I did not plan well enough to have a page to put them on. Also I never got around to doing that cover page I'd wanted to.

Meet Captain Starslie Breckinridge and her spunky sidekick, Robot Roy! You can tell he's spunky because he's wearing a neckerchief.

He is there because a captive in a revealing outfit is required by law.

And she fires with the amazing disappearing-reappearing raygun!

Spinning death top! The penultimate move.

Also: His hands are tied!

Yes, that is my excuse for not giving him an original hair design.

Tons of exposition! Can you tell this is part of an idea for a much larger project?

He's such a classicist that he sets up his last stand in front of sensitive machinery. And is then surprised when things go bad.

She has a spare sweater because 'It gets cold in space', by the way.

End chapter 1!

A finished version of this will be up on my front page a week from Friday.

I saw the jaggies on my comic pages. I'll fix them tomorrow morning.
heads up, Duff, I don't think page 2 is working, everything else is fine, though.

Huh. Works fine for me, but the site in general has been a pain in the ass these last couple days. Try refreshing.

Leave it to McDuffies to start out with a young woman conversing with her bellybutton and have it end in a Kubrickesque apocalypse.

The ending to this one rocks.
MixedMyth's and BEC's are very cool too. Lots of neat stuff produced here.
Kinda makes me wish I could still draw things without taking a million years.

The cryptic nature of Mixed Myth's that allows her to go forwards or backwards provides a cool effect on the comic that fits the content perfectly.

Nah, it's mostly that I am working this to add to my port-folio and couldn't write a third comic while doing this, the Volet and Evil Overlord as well as job hunt.

Heh.
I've actually read a few of em. I like how yours jumps from the mundane to the bizzarre like that. Was hoping for an image of a worm riding an a-bomb at the end, though.
Paul's was cool, too. Cute animals playing out the violent absurdity of today make for good television.
