Iron Man was indeed made of win, and I actually wouldn't mind seeing it again.

Boyfriend and one of our friends convinced me the other day to go see Speed Racer. It was...bright. Very very bright. Really trippy even seeing it sober...still trying to decide whether or not I should see it again whilst not sober...man, that might even just be too much visually (and believe me, I never thought I'd say that about a movie).

I just saw Iron Man. I liked Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr. He was kind of a scum bag and it worked well. Plus it's about him as a person and how he got to be in the suit, not just a 2 hour explosion fest.

I did too! The most amazing thing about it is that my dad went to see the same showing and we completely missed eachother.

Man that was depressing. It was nothing like the trailers. If you haven't seen it, don't bother - watch the trailer a few times and make up your own ending. It'll be better than the actual movie.
Great movie.

I've just bribed my little bro into doing his homework by saying I'll take him to see I.M. if he's done in the next 45 minutes.

Who's rewarding who? XD

I think when I start yelling at him for not going quickly enough, my true intentions may come through.
Last movie I went to the cinema twice to see was 300. I guess this is my once-a-year-movie-I-go-nuts-for.

Hah. I have been called creepy here and there, but I'm not even near this forum's alumnis.

I was completely uninterested in seeing Iron Man, but then I heard that Downey Jr is playing. This wonderful actor is not making enough films.

I was uninterested too, but I heard an unusual amount of praise, and my dad wanted to see it. I'm glad I did.

Same here. I didnt even watch the trailers. I though "Aw man, another crappy comic movie", until I started hearing about it being one of the best movies out there right now, and I thought "... I'll hazard it".
The rest, as they say, is history.
Even though it was like, what, a day or 2 ago?

I've gotten to watch a glut of movies while travelling:

There Will Be Blood- I watched this 'cause I wanted to know just what the hell "I drink your milkshake" meant
No Country for Old Men- Javier Bardem makes one evil creepy man >__>
Beowulf- meh, it was okay
Charlie & The Chocolate Factory- Johnny Depp cracked me up ^^
Hitman- never played the video game and the main actor was just...weird >_>
The Forbidden Kingdom - 'love me some kung fu ^__^V And Jet Li as Son Goku = awesome
Iron Man - much better than I expected; I was pleasantly surprised

Upcoming movies to watch:
Hancock
Valar Morghulis - Michiko Monogatari & Tehuti

They should merge them into one film: "Indiana Jones and the lost kingdom of Narnia"! That would be super!

Naw, they should throw Indy in with the new Harry Potter movie instead.
