Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Iron Man was indeed made of win, and I actually wouldn't mind seeing it again.
Boyfriend and one of our friends convinced me the other day to go see Speed Racer. It was...bright. Very very bright. Really trippy even seeing it sober...still trying to decide whether or not I should see it again whilst not sober...man, that might even just be too much visually (and believe me, I never thought I'd say that about a movie).

I just saw Iron Man. I liked Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr. He was kind of a scum bag and it worked well. Plus it's about him as a person and how he got to be in the suit, not just a 2 hour explosion fest.
Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I did too! The most amazing thing about it is that my dad went to see the same showing and we completely missed eachother.TheSuburbanLetdown wrote:I just saw Iron Man. Great movie.Dr Neo Lao wrote:Just saw "Million Dollar baby".
Man that was depressing. It was nothing like the trailers. If you haven't seen it, don't bother - watch the trailer a few times and make up your own ending. It'll be better than the actual movie.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I've just bribed my little bro into doing his homework by saying I'll take him to see I.M. if he's done in the next 45 minutes.
Who's rewarding who?
I think when I start yelling at him for not going quickly enough, my true intentions may come through.
Last movie I went to the cinema twice to see was 300. I guess this is my once-a-year-movie-I-go-nuts-for.

I was completely uninterested in seeing Iron Man, but then I heard that Downey Jr is playing. This wonderful actor is not making enough films.I just saw Iron Man. I was uninterested too, but I heard an unusual amount of praise, and my dad wanted to see it. Same here. I didnt even watch the trailers. I though "Aw man, another crappy comic movie", until I started hearing about it being one of the best movies out there right now, and I thought "... I'll hazard it".TheSuburbanLetdown wrote:I was uninterested too, but I heard an unusual amount of praise, and my dad wanted to see it. The rest, as they say, is history.
Even though it was like, what, a day or 2 ago?

They should merge them into one film: "Indiana Jones and the lost kingdom of Narnia"! That would be super!
