I think you gotta play all the way through the Adventure mode to get him.

Oh, and I'll add ya to my list tonight Ivstudios...add me back!

You don't need to play through adventure mode. I have him and all I did was play many 2 minute melee matches. I'll look for my SSBB code when I play again tonight

Got you on, but it keeps saying "Awaiting registration" for everyone I ad. I hope I didn't screw up any of the codes (damn friend codes :-? )

HOLY CRAP I BEAT THE SUBSPACE EMISSARY! :D

10 hours of play and a thousand four letter words later and I beat it (with help of friend). BTW: It's amazing! ^_^

Patched in the system, though it'll be some time until I can pull it off again.

The Subspace Emissary was awesome. I did it in just under 9 hours, getting it 92% complete, and did it on Normal. Anyone tried it on hard yet? Most of the people I know did Easy or Normal thus far.

The one thing about the online play which is still pissing me off is the lack of chat. Nintendo needs to get their asses with the program. The Wii-remotes have bluetooth already so just make a dang patch to include headsets. I know you can hear/see me Nintendo! Do it now!

They want to make online gaming environments safer for children by limiting communication. I do think they're going about it too simply (considering voice chatis already possible in games like Advance Wars and Pokemon), but I hear what they're saying. For the moment the best way to get around this is through free voice chatprograms like Skype.

Yeah... that's what I've been doing for a while now. It just sucks that we can't do it all through the same system. Why couldn't they have like rated rooms/games or something... egh.

I got this game over the weekend. It's been years since I've last played a Smash Bros. game, so now I kinda suck. Luckily, not much has changed, so it's like riding some kind of digital bicycle.

How many of you are using the GCN controller instead of the Wiimote? I've been using the Wiimote since I got it... but I just found out like everyone else I know is still using the GCN controllers.

I'm still feeling things out. I don't like the Wiimote on it's side though. That much I'm decided on.

Yeah... the Wiimote on its side and the Classic Controller configurations kind of suck. The classic is at least more usable than the first though. I like the Wiimote/Nunchuck with a few specializations on there to make it easier to use for my style.

I like the classic controller just fine. It took a little getting used to but it works just fine (grabs are a little awkward, but not unbearable)

The Classic controler works fine if you configure it properly, but nothing beats a GC controler.

Yeah. The gamefaqs poll for yesterday had the GCN controller winning bigtime over all the other configurations. Although the wiimote/nunchuck did fairly well i guess...
but yeah, the GCN controller is just the classic fighting config which is easy to use and familiar.

After last night, I'm going with the gamecube controller.

...what happened last night?

Or do I not want to know?

My show Player 3 held a Brawl party last night. It actually went really well, props to the rotation feature. I think it'll become a regular thing (we need the publicity anyway).

Yo, anyone come up with a cool stage?

Oh, I played the game a little more. I guess the way I phrased it sounded like some kind of mysterious innuendo.

I haven't gotten a chance to use the rotation feature yet. Glad to hear that it is cool. I've been trying to get enough people together to try it out, but I'm on spring break and there isn't anyone around this week.
