Anybody Twitter?

Good engineering = making product efficient and working on many platforms.
Bad engineering = making product eat up resources and just assuming that user will always have enough resources.
I have cable at my home. There's a good deal of the world, though, where other options simply aren't available.

heck there are plenty of places within the U.S. that don't have easy access to cable internet. And sometimes, even when there is access most people don't really want to pay for the privilege. My parents have dial up because cable internet is not an option for them and satellite costs more than they care to pay for something that barely gets used most of the time.

As for twitter. Meh, i haven't updated my status on facebook in.... at least 6 months if not more, there really no purpose in me getting a twitter.

Twitter can be stupid, but it depends on how one uses it. It's incredibly handy if you're at a large event like a comic convention or an expo. With Twitter, you can get event updates from the organizing staff like notices when events are starting. And more importantly, if a panel or show is cancelled, pushed back to a later time or has been moved to another room. Most of the time though, people just want to tell you what they had for breakfast and why it tasted bad.
