I couldn't stop thinking, "This game is perfect for the Wii. Why am I playing it on PS2?" Now if only they would make more Okami games...

I think Katamari would be even better on ps3. The motion controller works better than people seem to give it credit for, at least in Heavenly Sword and the Ratchet and Clank demo.

I didnt really dig okami

After about an hour of interminable unskippable and horribly written text, I finally got into the game. Did a little running around, Got more text.

Oh god no, I wont be touching that series again because its clear they cant hire a decent writer for it.

i was more referencing to the fact that you play a little bit of game, then sit back, relax, grab some popcorn, and watch the rest

yessss.

And its godawful.

Hell, in MGS3 you only have to watch around 20 minutes of badly acted, badly plotted, badly paced cutscene, then you get to play!

You get to climb a tree.

Then its another 40 minutes of badly acted, badly plotted, badly paced cutscenes before you play again.

I wish i was exagerating.

I'm sorry, At this point I dont care if the game picks up, or where the story goes, you have already lost me.

On the other hand, the first half hour of bioshock is probably the best intro to any game ever.

Ha ha! Or how about Xenogears for text?

Though I will say that Okami's major flaw was that the text was overly repetative. That did get a bit old.

As a vaguely related note (I'm not sure If it's already been mentioned), it's being joined by another Capcom title: Monster Hunter 3.

Oh, and I never got a chance to play Okami on the PS2, so I suppose this means I'll have to pick it up for the Wii now.

Word on the street as it that this is a straight up port. No new content, no frills exclusive to the Wii. It'll be an experinece similar to the port of RE4.
