Some of you may know that the Indianapolis Star ran an article on webcomics a while back and covered some of the local webtoonists. Well, we all got an email a little while ago from INTake, a free mag associated with the Star, that asked if we'd like to have our stuff run in it. Now Metrophor isn't exactly fit for pg13 audiences...what with swearing and some gore.

At any rate, I decided that I could do little 'snippet' strips based in the ULG world. I really like the full page strips with the storyline and all, but these are still kinda fun. =D It takes place before any of the full comic does.

Yeah, heckhounds are really cute while they are puppies...but I can kinda see the problem with heckhounds in the dorms, after they grow up into giant, carnivorous, fire-breathing beasts...especially if they aren't properly house broken.

Uh, I wouldn't normally mention it, but if this is headed for print, and all...

there's a typo in 'deities' in the first panel

Just a note that I'm holding off on getting the ULG strips printed in INTake. Screw it, I want to submit the full story to the Comic Challenge.

Even if I only got one strip printed, I wouldn't want it to be invalidated as an entry because of something so small.

That's too bad...you should try to cook up something, just for the exposure if nothing else. But ULG still rocks, so good luck in that contest!

And Ardra will still be in INtake...it might look like crap, since that's totally NOT the size Fes is used to working in, but hey, it gets the site url out there, at least!
