That was the TV show. The Spider Carnage thing was different in the comics. In the end, after the lengthy Clone Saga, Peter was revealed to be real and Ben really was the clone, since he disintegrated when he died (which I'm sure Ryan or Lego can explain to us).brockway wrote:I thought Ben Reilly was the real Spiderman, and Peter was the clone? Wasn't there the whole Peter going nuts after finding out he was the clone and becoming Spider Carnage thing?
was that all the "comeback" was? I thought there was going to be more...ryclaude wrote:Duh, you clone him.Laemkral wrote:WHAAAAAAAAAAAA????? How the HELL do you bring back Ben Reilley who disintegrated into dust before our eyes!!!grabmygoblin wrote:who?
oh Lord, I just thought of something: aren't they bringing back Spider-Man's clone?
(and isnt that more about Peter going by the undercover identity of Ben Reilly to keep his job at the school? a ruse so clever Flash Thompson figured it out.)
Is Flash over his brain damage, or was it really THAT bad?ryclaude wrote:Duh, you clone him.Laemkral wrote:WHAAAAAAAAAAAA????? How the HELL do you bring back Ben Reilley who disintegrated into dust before our eyes!!!grabmygoblin wrote:who?

Captain Canuck is almost as bad as Major Mapleleaf:theSuburbanLetdown wrote:I've never heard of Captain Canuck, but I still know things. I even know a guy named Jack. He collects comics and helps me draw stuff sometimes.
That, or there's this.
yeah, that's what I read at first that made me think he'd be back the next issue... what's the timeline? he's shot, pronounced dead in the ambulance, snuck off to the Helicarrier while everyone mourns and is comatose for now? I kinda like that, especially if they decide to freeze him like what happened at the end of WWII, and he's underground for several years.
