Online Gallery?

I'm thinking about displaying some of my artwork online (largely non-comic related), and I'm trying to figure out the best venue for that. It may or may not become an online portfolio, in which case I will probably buy webspace when that time comes. This is very much meant to be a popular opinion poll, so think of what would most easily draw you as a viewer.
Thanks,

If it goes professional, buy a webspace. In the meantime, don't waste money on it. DevianArt is pretty simple and reliable.
As a viewer, though, your own webspace is more customizable, and that's usually more appealing. CG prefers you to have comic-related stuff on your site, though.

I'd use DA.

I use photobucket but I would recommend DA instead.

Back when I started, I piggybacked onto a
discussion about "dump sites" to check whether my own modest gallery, included on my Keenspace site, was okay. I was told that it was so long as I met certain conditions: my site was mostly comic and everything was readily accessible so it didn't look like I was just trying to use CG as "offline storage" of my stuff.

I use DA for everything... It's definitely the best.

Well, you'd definately get more viewers of your stuff if you used DA right off the bat, since lots of people surf that site.

I just use my own website. It's more customizable than most places. There's no restrictions on content. And you get a cool name like
Dreamers Ink and then you are able to customize your own email addresses. So I'm all for the get your own website.
